This pledge is not intended to create or in any way affect
any legal obligation or liability on the part of any person signing it. It was created based on a philosophy and awareness of a
community making a statement to support the local and State Laws on teenage drinking and
drug use.
Pledge as it will appear in the LS Student Directory:
I will not serve, nor will I knowingly allow anyone
under the legal drinking age to consume alcohol in my home or on my property,
in compliance with Massachusetts Law. I
will not serve nor will I knowingly allow the use of illegal drugs in my home
or on my property. I will make a conscientious effort to safeguard my home while I am
away, and would welcome a call to verify a party and to check on adult
supervision.
I / we consent to the inclusion of my/our name/s to be noted with parents signing this pledge which will appear in a separate section of the
L-S Student Directory in relation to the pledge statement.
*** When you verify "Yes" in support of the Pledge your name/s will be included in the pledge listing each year until
graduation.
